Humidifiers can help improve the air quality in certain spaces, including cleanrooms and offices. The right level of humidity is important for the productivity of these spaces and the comfort of occupants.

Ultrasonic humidifiers emit a fine mist of water vapor into the air, increasing humidity levels in a room. They offer several advantages over other humidification systems.

1. Water Tank

Ultrasonic Humidifiers use a vibrating diaphragm to push microscopic water droplets into the air where they evaporate, moisturizing the room. This type of humidifier is less expensive than other models that boil water and emit steam into the air, and is safer for children since it doesn’t produce hot steam. Ultrasonic humidifiers are also effective at reducing dry skin, chapped lips, nose, and throat. They also help ease coughing, congestion, sneezing, asthma symptoms, and itchy eyes.

Ultrasonic humidifiers do have a few drawbacks, however. One is that the water droplets may contain minerals from hard water, which can form difficult-to-remove sticky white dust on nearby objects and furniture. Another issue is that if the humidifier isn’t cleaned regularly, bacteria and pathogens in the stagnant water can be dispersed into the air.

In addition, because ultrasonic technology doesn’t require boiling water, these machines generally consume less electricity than steam vaporizers and evaporative humidifiers. However, it’s important to choose a model with a high wattage rating so you can get the best results from your appliance.

One embodiment of the invention provides a two tank ultrasonic humidifier which is designed to enable one of the tanks to Maxcan humidifier supplier empty in a staggered sequence relative to the other. This is accomplished by positioning the outlets of each of the tanks at a different height and designing the outlets so that water will start to dispense from the higher tank first.

2. Atomization Disc

Piezo atomizers are used to create fine mist or spray using ultrasonic vibrations. They contain a liquid reservoir and a piezo element that’s surrounded by a perforated mesh layer with many tiny holes. When an electrical voltage is applied to the piezo element, it generates rapid ultrasonic vibrations. These vibrations force the liquid solution through the mesh layer and into tiny droplets or mist.

Piezo nozzles are available in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit different applications. They can be flat discs, cone-shaped, tubular, or custom shaped to meet specific needs. Flat disc piezo atomizers are the most common shape and are often used in crop spraying, surface coating, and personal Maxcan humidifier supplier care applications. They are also available in a variety of materials to match the needs of each application.

When a liquid is fed into a rotary atomizer, it flows radially outwards from the center of the atomizer. At a low flow rate, drops are formed directly at the peripheries of the double-disc assembly, yielding an effective monodisperse spray. At higher flow rates, the fluid is discharged in the form of ligaments spiralling outwards from the disk’s outer limits. These ligaments later break down into a range of drop sizes. The resulting size distribution can be characterized as a distribution with a mean (or Sauter) diameter that’s dependent on the rotational speed of the disk and its operating conditions.

3. Vibrating Diaphragm

A humidifier is a device that adds water vapor or steam to the air, thereby raising the humidity in your home or office. These devices can be beneficial if you suffer from dry sinuses, bloody nose or sensitive skin. Humidifiers can also alleviate the symptoms of the common cold and flu.

An ultrasonic humidifier has a ceramic diaphragm that vibrates at an ultrasonic frequency of 1-2 MHz to create water droplets that silently exit the device in the form of a cool mist. Most ultrasonic humidifiers have a fan that forces the mist into the air, while some smaller models don’t even have fans at all.

One of the biggest issues with ultrasonic humidifiers is that the vibrations generated by the transducer disk can agitate minerals present in the water supply. These minerals are then dispersed into the air as droplets of water, and can end up on surfaces around your home or office.

Another problem with ultrasonic humidifiers is that they don’t use a filter, so they can disperse bacteria and viral particles into the air that you breathe. As such, the EPA recommends cleaning your humidifier at least once every 3 days to prevent these biological agents from circulating in your home or office. You can easily clean your ultrasonic humidifier by using vinegar or bleach to disinfect the tank, and then rinsing it.

4. LED Lights

4.5L Large Capacity Transparent Tank – Releases clean, non-contaminated mist to moisturize the air and improve breathing, sleeping, nasal congestion and dry skin. Manual 360 Rotating Mist Nozzle – Adjustable to easily direct the flow of mist where it is needed.

Touch Control LED Night Light – The soft night-light feature turns on automatically when the humidifier is in operation and provides a relaxing glow for your home or office.

Potential White Dust – The ultrasonic technology may release minerals from the water into the air, which can settle on surfaces and create white dust. This can be avoided by using a filter.
