M16 Large Head PVC

PVC uses a wide variety of additives to convert polyvinyl chloride into durable pipes for water and sewers, electrical cables, construction materials and other essential products that keep us safe and productive. This process also emits greenhouse gases and releases vinyl chloride monomer into the air and water.

Hazardous listing could complicate and stigmatize end-of-life repurposing, reselling, recycling, recovery and other circular pathways for PVC and PVC-containing products. This would deter these vital efforts, which reduce waste, protect scarce natural resources and minimize reliance on foreign fossil fuels and minerals.

1. Durability

The durability of M16 large head PVC is one of the reasons it’s such a popular choice for use within the construction industry. It has a high resistance to corrosion and is anti-magnetic. It is also resistant to oxidation and degradation. This helps to ensure that it will continue to perform well for a long time. It also has good fire resistance, with the limiting oxygen index (LOI) being up to 45. This makes it safer than other materials such as wood. PVC is also heat stable, although the addition of a heat stabilizer is advised when using it in hot environments.

2. High Strength

PVC has high strength due to its molecular weight and crystal structure. It has a melting temperature of around 140degF (60degC) and can be heat distorted up to 500degF (260degC), depending on the manufacture additives. It also has good flame retardancy with a limiting oxygen index of up to 45 or more.

The quality of high-strength bolts is M16 large head PVC determined by many factors, including steel design, spheroidizing annealing, peeling and dephosphorization, cold heading, drawing, thread processing, heat treatment and other processes. Sometimes, it is even a combination of these factors that determines the final quality.

The process for producing a high-quality bolt varies depending on the size and application. For example, for a larger diameter application, a beveling die is used to create an angle on the surface of the pipe before welding. Beveling dies are available for all universal die heads, consult chart for sizes and model number. For smaller applications, cut grooving dies are used to create a groove on the pipe for mechanical type couplings.

3. Heat Resistant

Traditional product PVC has poor heat stability, resulting in the formation of gel at elevated temperatures. Therefore, the research on improved heat resistant performance has significant engineering application value.

This research utilizes graft copolymerization to prepare three kinds of heat resistant cross-linked PVC foam plastics I, II, and III. The dimensional stability and volume change rate of these PVC foams are examined with temperature increase. In addition, the decomposition temperature, weight loss temperature, and brittle rupture temperature of the three kinds of heat resistant PVC foams are also measured.

The polyvinyl chloride paste resin (PVC) is purchased from VESTOLIT GmbH & Co KG, Marl, Germany. Liquified methylene bis-phenyl diisocyanate is purchased from Bayer AG, Leverkusen, Germany. Methyl hexahydrophthalic anhydride is purchased from Puyang Huicheng Chemical Co., Ltd, Puyang, China. Azodicarbonamide is purchased from Kaifeng Dongda Chemical Co., Ltd, Kaifeng, China. Trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate/triallyl isocyanurate (TMPTMA/TAIC) is purchased from Shanghai Farida Chemical Co., Ltd, Shanghai, China. Acrylonitrile is purchased from Tianjin Jiancheng Chemistry Co., Ltd, Tianjin, China. All of the above chemicals are reacted to form the graft copolymer of the three kinds of heat resistant cross-linked PVC. The graft copolymer is then reacted with isocyanate and water to produce the three kinds of heat resistant cross-linked PEVC foams.

4. Weather Resistant

PVC is a good choice for plumbing installations exposed to fluctuating temperatures because it is less sensitive to thermal expansion than PE pipe. It is also resistant to corrosion, chemical abrasion and UV degradation. PVC is rated for use with many different chemicals but it is important to check the ratings waterproof connector manufacturer for the specific chemical being used. Plastic Pipe Shop Ltd has compiled these ratings from reputable suppliers and other sources but recommends that the pipe and fittings should be tested under actual conditions before use. PVC has WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approval which means it is suitable for use with drinking water.

Unless otherwise stated, all our PVC is WRAS approved and has been tested by an independent laboratory to demonstrate that it meets the requirements for potable water use.

5. Easy To Assemble

M16 large head PVC hex nuts are a general purpose fastener that can be used on various types of projects. They are popular among professionals because they allow for a high level of grip and take less time to screw than other polygon heads. Hexagons also have 6 sides, which provides a wide range of angles for tools to approach from and reduces the chances of accidentally rounded off corners. They are available in bulk coil sizes or contractor packs, and fixed or swivel glands are available to fit the entire range. These screws are compatible with universal dies, but the exact size will vary depending on the model of die head.
