With one-handed blind installs from any angle, three-sense locking feedback, and floating connections, they can be installed by field engineers with all levels of experience.
Waterproof
The FTTA fiber patch cord is an important part of the wireless cell site architecture for UMTS, GSM, CDMA2000, TD-SCDMA, WiMax, LTE and other mobile communication systems. It carries the fiber-optic feeds to link the telecom tower base station and the remote unit at the antenna mast. It must be waterproof to withstand the harsh outdoor environment. The FTTA patch cord uses an external full weatherproof connector to protect the LC duplex connectors from water and dust. This type of waterproof cable assembly can be used in a variety of FTTA applications.

Dustproof
FullAxs waterproof LC to LC cable assembly offers IP67 dust and water protection for outdoor wireless deployment. This FTTA (fiber to the antenna) cable provides an alternative to traditional coax cabling in cell towers. It is commonly used in Ericsson Remote Radio Head cell towers and other FTTA connectivity designs. This cable is designed with a shell that encloses duplex LC connectors.
